Since 1993, Jodi has been committed to working in the nonprofit sector.  Over the years she has worked for arts organizations including Seattle Opera, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Bellevue Art Museum, and Intiman Theatre; children’s organizations including Pacific Science Center and Working Wonders Children’s museum; human service organizations including YouthCare, Youth Suicide Prevention Program, and New Futures, as well as 3E Strategies, an environmental organization, and Puget Sound Blood Center, a research and medical institution.

As a grantwriter, she has helped numerous organizations research for prospective funders and write successful proposals for their programs, general operations, and capital projects.  She also writes copy for organizational newsletters and annual reports.

Jodi has a BA in Liberal Arts from the University of Washington and a Master’s Degree in Nonprofit Leadership from Seattle University.  She also completed two nine-month certificate programs at the University of Washington: Creative Writing and Fundraising Management.

Rates: As a freelance grantwriter, Jodi bases her rates on the needs of the organization, charging both hourly and project rates.
